In 2011 Benchmade expanded the Rant family with the Rant 517. It features a tanto blade style made out of 440C stainless steel (58-60HRC). The black textured handle is made out of Santoprene and allows for a sure grip. It comes with a nylon/MOLLE compatible sheath. Btw, made in the USA!
