FrancisFrancis! X1 Trio Espresso Machine by ILLY

Designed by Italian architect Luca Trazzi, the FrancisFrancis! X1 espresso machine draws a lot of attention! The X1 makes preparing an espresso sized as you prefer a simple pleasure: ristretto (short), regular or lungo(long). One slight turn of the filter system, and the choice is yours.

There a two different versions available, the X1 Trio and Ground. 

The X1 Trio features the ESE pod system (Easy Serving Espresso). The E.S.E. design was created by illy in 1989 as a marketing effort to sell convenience in home espresso preparation. Each pod contains seven grams of coffee compressed into a food safe filter package. A double serving contains 14 grams of coffee.

The X1 Ground is a traditional espresso machine for ground coffee. Measure, dose and tamp just your way: it’s all in your hands. Control the volume to pull precisely the size espresso you prefer.
