homemade knife - Part 1: design + shape

A new DIY project: my first homemade knife. I' m starting from scratch with a sheet of paper and a steel plate.

Quite a simple design (overall length 6.9 inch / 17,5 cm, blade length 3.15 inch / 8 cm):
